I Hand crafted this beautiful repoussé copper artwork of ” Ravens & the Tree Of Life Right side Ouroboros.“
This is a traditional Celtic-crafted copper, representing a continuation of a long tradition of Celtic arts, which began with my ancient forefathers, “The Ancient Celts”, crafted with Celtic magic in an ancient, honoured tradition.
The Raven is a symbol of death or dark times. The Ouroboros, emblematic serpent of ancient Egypt and Greece, is represented with its tail in its mouth, continually devouring itself and being reborn from itself. Agnostic, along with being an alchemical symbol. The Ouroboros expresses the unity of all things, material and spiritual, which never disappear, but perpetually change form in an eternal cycle of destruction with re-creation……..The tree of life symbolises a fresh start in life, positive energy, good health, and a bright future: Growth and strength. The tree of life is also a symbol of immortality. When the tree grows old, it will bear seeds that contain its very essence. In this way, the tree becomes immortal. This was commissioned by clients they wanted two artworks, left & right they love them both.
The copper wall art is so beautiful in its simplicity. Handcrafted in pure copper, oxidised to bring out the aged copper patina colours, the effect is warm and understated and would complement any home decor style. This elegant copper art will bring you joy and is perfect for placing in a prominent position on the wall of a living room, entrance, or anywhere. I am trying to keep the art of copper repousse alive. Copper repousse is among the skills that are all but a lost, forgotten art.
Just as in nature, there will be flaws. However, I tend to be drawn to the ‘wear,’ finding it infinitely more beautiful and exciting than the flawless perfection of manufactured pieces.
This copper art is made to order only; it is a very integral design with many elements.

These are individually handcrafted copper artworks, not to be confused with cheap, mass-produced manufactured items that are machine-made. Instead, they are handcrafted with Celtic magic by the traditional Irish artisan Tom Hughes’s studio in Bass Hill.
