The Ouroboros, emblematic serpent of ancient Egypt and Greece represented with its tail in its mouth, continually devouring itself and being reborn from itself. Agnostic along with being an alchemical symbol. The Ouroboros expresses the unity of all things, material and spiritual, which never disappear, but perpetually change form in an eternal cycle of destruction with re-creation……..The tree of life is a symbol of a fresh start in life, positive energy, good health, with a bright future. growth and strength. The tree of life is also a symbol of immortality. When the tree grows old it will bear seeds, that contain its very essence in this way the tree becomes immortal. . I am trying to keep the art of copper repousse alive. Copper repousse is among the skills that are all but a lost, forgotten art.
Just as in nature, there will be flaws. I tend to be drawn to the ‘wear,’ finding it infinitely more beautiful and exciting than the flawless perfection of manufactured pieces.
